Carpinteria Middle School art instructor Ryan Ethington stands among his students’ artwork. 

Students from Carpinteria Middle School currently have their artwork on display at the Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center in the Robinson Family Studio. 

Students, ranging in ages from 11 to 14, created color theory portraits, charcoal and watercolor animal drawings and collage silhouette portraits under the instruction of the middle school’s art teacher, Ryan Ethington. The gallery’s reception is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 28, from 2–3 p.m.

The Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center is located at 865 Linden Ave.
