Brady Sturdivan and Jack Dierdorff

Brady Sturdivan of Carpinteria High School and Jack Dierdorff of Cate School were named to the All-South Coast High School Football Team at the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table, Jan. 7.

The Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table revealed the All-South Coast High School Football Team, sponsored by Noozhawk, at its weekly luncheon on Monday, Jan. 7. Carpinteria High and Cate School had six players named to the squad. Cate senior quarterback Jack Deardorff and Bishop Diego junior running back Adrian Soracco were named Co-MVPs of the offensive team, while Santa Barbara senior defensive end Jeremiah Phillips took home Defensive Player of the Year honors. Rams senior running back Drew Anastasio also earned a spot on the team, as did Warriors senior wide receiver Brady Sturdivan. Senior lineman Luke Calloway was also named to defense from the Carpinteria team, as well as teammate, defensive back Chris Ramirez. Cate junior lineman Callum Casey earned a place on the roster as well.
