On Saturday, March 16, the CVYAA Carpinteria Junior Warriors hosted their second annual Cheer Camp, gearing up cheerleaders for the 2019 Tackle and Cheer season that begins in July. Junior Warriors Cheer Boot Camp partnered up with the Carpinteria High School cheerleaders to teach the “mini” cheerleaders a game time cheer and performance which they performed in front of family and friends at Carpinteria High School. Participants ranged in age from 5 to 13.
Junior Warriors will have a walk-up registration for Flag and Tackle Football and Cheer at Foster’s Freeze on Saturday, April 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Coaching applications for all programs are still being accepted.
