Please tell me, Mr. John Cox, how you propose to cut taxes by 25%? If our taxes are cut by that amount, what services are you proposing we lose? CalFire? California Highway Patrol? Medical? Food stamps? Foster care?
Your timing couldn’t be worse. Wildfires, the global pandemic and global warming are more important than your conservative views on how to handle the state of California. To be fair, you said, “we must cut taxes by 25%”. Not that you will.
Really, voters, don’t be fooled by this non-promise. Using such a hot topic to get your attention doesn’t mean he will be able to follow through on any of this. Please, Mr. Cox, give us some specifics on how you plan to cut taxes and over what amount of time.
I will be voting “no” on the recall. Governor Gavin Newsom has done a great job keeping people out of harm’s way regarding this horrible Covid-19 pandemic and has done what he is able to do for the homeless situation. He has re-opened public schools in a safe manner and has opened small businesses as well.
And he is not actually responsible for the wildfires, as you suggest, Mr. Cox. He understands that he can’t do everything on his own, without other lawmakers being involved in his proposals.
