To vote or not to vote. That is the question! Carpinterians have been voicing their opinions opposing the city’s proposed 99-year lease of our Beach Parking Lot #3 to a hotel developer in numbers above and beyond anything the City Council has seen in many years. No matter one’s position on the subject, putting the issue to a vote of the people is the only fair way to verify the wishes of Carpinterians. It removes all doubts and any wrong turns. Everyone should embrace voting, including the developer. Let the light shine in. Let us vote!
