The Carpinteria Boy Scouts opened their annual Christmas Tree Lot on Saturday, Nov. 24. The lot is at a new location this year, in the field behind St. Joseph Church at 1532 Linden Ave. The Boy Scouts Christmas Tree Lot is a yearly fundraiser in support of scouting programs, camping and activities. On average between 800 and 1,000 trees are sold each year.
