Carpinteria Valley Museum of History held their annual Memorial Weekend Marketplace and Plant Sale on Saturday, May 25. Shoppers were treated to artfully arranged flowers, exotic orchids and hanging succulents, along with an array of vintage finds, including furniture, toys, paintings, books, clothing, jewelry and more. Plants were donated by dozens of local Carpinteria nurseries to benefit the museum. Don’t worry if you missed last weekend’s market, the popular old-fashioned flea market is held on the last Saturday of every month. The next museum marketplace will be on June 29 and will feature over 60 vendors.
