Just in time for the 4th of July BBQ, the new Carpinteria Lions Club president, Robert Shroll, installed a new set of flags at the Lions Community Park. Shroll retired the worn Old Glory at the Boy Scout flag retirement drop box at the fire station. The 4th of July BBQ starts at noon. Tickets are available onsite for food and drinks.
