A deputy saw three subjects drinking beer at the Amtrak Station. All three subjects were cited and released.

Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office Radar Trailer placed in front of Carpinteria High School.
Tuesday, March 10
11:54 p.m. / DUI / 4700 block 8th Street
Deputies responded to a report of a male and female arguing in the area. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a woman pulling away from the curb. Deputies immediately observed an odor of alcohol and after conducting field sobriety tests, the woman was arrested. She was transported to Santa Barbara County Jail where she blew a 0.22/0.23% BAC.
Thursday, March 12
3 p.m. / Shepard Mesa Road
A caller reported his sister, who lives in Malibu, keeps texting him harassing and annoying text messages. A deputy called the sister, who denied sending annoying text messages. The situation is an on-going issue regarding who has legal standing of the home on Shepard Mesa Road.
Friday, March 13
3:28 a.m. / Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance / Yucca Lane
A man was stopped for a bicycle violation, and it was determined that he was under the influence of a controlled substance. The man was transported back to the Carpinteria station for an evaluation and released by citation.
Saturday, March 14
8:41 p.m. / Warrant Arrest / Carpinteria Avenue
A man was contacted during a traffic stop and found to have two outstanding misdemeanor warrants. He was arrested and booked at Santa Barbara County Jail.
10:56 p.m. / Public Intoxication / Walnut Avenue
Deputies were called to the Freedom Warming Center because an intoxicated male was kicked off the premises after urinating on several other sleeping clients. Deputies located a man who was sitting down hunched over in front of the warming center. He was arrested for public intoxication and transported to Santa Barbara County Jail.
