Caroline Alarcon, who is working for the city of Carpinteria to inform and educate residents on the U.S. Census, discussed the city’s “last push” efforts to encourage residents to fill out the Census. The city has posted banners at the Community Pool and Aliso School, among other public information campaigns. Currently, 67.3 percent of Carpinteria residents have responded to the Census. The last day to fill out the Census is Sept. 30, 2020.
