Pack 50 Cub Scouts

Dan Terry and Pack 50 Cub Scout Max Bunnin position a corner of the corral with other Carpinteria boy scouts and volunteers at St. Joseph Church.

The Carpinteria Boy Scouts will open their annual Christmas Tree Lot on Saturday, Nov. 24, at noon. Scouts from Pack 50, Troop 50 and Troop 147, along with their parents, built tree corrals at St Jospeph Church in preparation for the arrival of nearly 1,000 Christmas trees. The lot is at a new location this year, in the field behind St. Joseph Church at 1532 Linden Ave.

The Boy Scouts Christmas Tree Lot sales make up the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year in support of boy scout programs, camping and activities.
