Lobero show benefits Boys & Girls Club |

Three for One! LaLaine, Scarlett Pomers and Todd Joseph are three teen stars with tons of talent who will be performing a high energy show at the Lobero Theater, along with the band “Mall Rats,” on Saturday, Aug. 30 at 5:30 p.m. Lalaine, who plays “Miranda” on Disney’s “Lizzie McGuire, will be headlining the program with Scarlett Pomers, who stars as “Kyra” on WB’s Reba.
Lalaine is an accomplished singer/songwriter, recently co-wrote and recorded six tracts on her debut album “Inside Story.” She will be singing them at the Lobero engagement. In addition to sharing her numerous talents in the world of performing arts, this high energy teen is also known for her involvement with charitable organizations such as the N*Sync Challenge for Youth, Children United International and most recently, The United Boys & Girls Club of Santa Barbara County’s Carpinteria Club House, which this show will benefit.
Actress, singer Scarlett Pomers will be joining LaLaine at the Lobero. Pomers credits include film (Erin Brockovich, Mighty Joe Young), television, (Reba, That’s Life, Urban Girls, and Star Trek, to name and few) soundtrack vocals (Geppeto, A Visit with Santa) voiceovers (Adventures in Odyssey) and theater (Ruthless!, I’ll Be Home for Christmas).
Singing talent Todd Joseph, best known for his song, “Keep Dancin’” has the energy to keep the audience dancing. In addition to playing along side MC Hammer, Joseph has opened for Kenney Logins, sang with “Dream,” and has been featured in many other performances across the nation, including headlining as the vocal star of “V,” a variety show at the Venetian on the Strip in Las Vegas.
