Pastors to Prisoners missionary to speak at First Baptist Church |

Missionary Pam Scott will be speaking on the “The Truth of the World” and “The Truth of The Word” at the Baptist Women’s Ministry Retreat to be held March 21 and 22. Scott is part of Chaplain Prison Ministries and Pastors to Prisoners, a non-profit organization that provides ministers to work in the state prisons.
Her experience includes taping Christian programs for death row inmates and conducting weekly church services and bible studies in the Ventura County Jail. Scott completed coursework at Bethany Bible College while volunteering throughout the Ventura County jails and prisons.
In 1999 she took an early retirement and became a full time chaplain to the women at the California Rehabilitation Center in Norco. She continues to work to facilitate support for women who have become “hopeless” and help them regain hope through God’s Plan through Jesus Christ.
