A yogic approach for pregnancy & childbirth |
|
by CVN Report |
In my opinion, in our society being pregnant and giving birth too often becomes a medical issue and many women start to distrust their own abilities and intuitions. Through the yoga, meditation and deep breathing the women have an opportunity to come home to themselves, trust themselves and reclaim their power.
Hip-Rotations
Play very smoothing music and close your eyes.
Come onto your hands and knees. Relax your head down. Begin to rotate your hips in big circles. Really stretch every muscle in your body. Lean all the way to the side, forward and back onto your heels. Feel the lengthening and breathe into the movement. You can inhale through the nose and exhale through your open mouth. Releasing all the tension you might be holding in your body. 1-3 min. Repeat into the other direction.
Dance, swing and be in a flow. Let yourself go and feel sensual, beautiful and free. Your baby will not only love this movement but also the energy you will be in.
Before doing this exercise or participating in any exercise program, consult your physician.
