SOAP sales

SOAP sales associate Darcy Feinstein and SOAP owner Daniel Case celebrated 20 years in business in May 2019. Last week, the shop partially reopened after having closed temporarily heeding state guidelines.

Mother’s Day was a boon for business at SOAP, the charming Carpinteria boutique. Owner Daniel Case helped customers with customized gifts by way of curbside delivery, home delivery, store pick up and shipping. Case welcomes telephone orders and the shop is open by appointment. One customer at a time can enter the shop (with a mask) to select their items.

“Things are not at a screeching halt, which is nice,” said Case. “We’re going to do whatever we can, whatever it takes. Sometimes customers have special requests and I try and honor them. They can’t find something online, but they’ve seen it. I can help.”

The hidden gem in the Torii Gate courtyard of Linden Avenue, SOAP incorporates the style of the Orient and the virtues of service and awareness taught in the East with a wide array of bath and body products, robes and sleepwear, gifts and accessories.
