After owning design and gallery businesses on Linden Avenue since the 1980s, Leigh Sparks will close En Plein Air this month. Sparks will continue to paint landscapes and a selection of her works will be offered at a new collective makers’ space set to open by the end of this month in the En Plein Air storefront at 961 Linden Ave. “Thank you to all artists, friends and neighbor for making life wonderful!” said  Sparks. On Saturday, Sept. 15, Sparks will hold a retirement celebration party at En Plein Air from noon to 6 p.m. All art and collectibles will be on sale.
