The Carpinteria Valley Chamber of Commerce has released The Guide for 2018-19. The annual directory of businesses and nonprofit organizations is a one-stop resource for information on Carpinteria. This year’s edition of The Guide features emerging technology companies and spirited entrepreneurial industries that are among the growing business sectors choosing to locate in Carpinteria. Along with the emerging faces of technology, The Guide also features institutional leaders in local education. Joyce Donaldson, chamber president and CEO, describes the featured Carpinteria Valley leaders as those “that are rising to the challenge and prepare our youth for the jobs of tomorrow.” The Guide is a compendium of tourist information, helpful and emergency phone numbers, an alphabetical and categorical business directory, and articles about the Carpinteria Valley.
