The Association of Women in Communications, Santa Barbara chapter, honored Kymberlee Weil, strategist, and Beth Farnsworth, KEYT journalist/anchor, at its 12th Annual Women of Achievement Awards luncheon, on Friday, April 12, at El Paseo Restaurant in Santa Barbara.   

Kymberlee Weil, daughter of Carpinterians Sandy and Al Weil, has produced six TEDx events including TEDx Santa Barbara. She has spent more than 28 years studying the mindset that creates peak performance in business, sports and communications. A lifelong athlete, Kymberlee attended the University of Hawaii on a full scholarship for softball, and was recognized as an NCAA Woman of the year. The Association for Women in Communications is a national organization founded in 1909, and the Santa Barbara chapter is the only one in California.
