On Dec. 18, Matt LaBrie, co-owner of the old Austin’s Hardware property in the 700 block of Linden Avenue, presented his team’s vision for the area to the Rotary Club of Carpinteria Sunset. The proposed dog-friendly development would include a combination of retail, restaurants, shared work space, rooftop patio and an open courtyard.
