Beth Schmohr’s “Standing Tall”

Beth Schmohr’s “Standing Tall” is inspired by reed grass reflecting a pink sunset on the bluffs of Carpinteria. “Standing Tall” is on exhibit at the Wildling Museum of Art in the current show “Nature Abstracted.”

The Santa Barbara Abstract Art Collective and the Wildling Museum of Art and Nature present “Nature Abstracted,” a juried exhibition of abstract art with a nature theme. This is the first exhibition of abstract art to be shown at the Wildling. The exhibit shows 30 works by 19 artists, introducing viewers to abstract interpretations of nature. The exhibit will be on view Oct. 3 to Feb. 5, 2019. A reception will be held on Oct. 20, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Wildling Museum, 1511-B Mission Drive, Solvang.
