Heritage Goods and Supply

Wine and watercolor make a good combination, and although the refreshments will be non-alcoholic at Heritage Goods and Supply, the camaraderie and fun will be just the same.

Rebekah Miles will lead a watercolor class at Heritage Goods and Supply, 5100 Carpinteria Ave., on Sunday, Dec.15, from 2 to 4 p.m., and again on Saturday, Feb. 1. The cost is $30 per person and includes all materials and light refreshments.

A ceramicist and painter, Miles taught a “Municipal Watercolor Club” series for a few years at Municipal Winery in Santa Barbara. “It was an evening gathering where people would come sip wine and paint a seasonal/foraged still life with simple instruction geared towards all levels of experience,” said Miles. The Heritage classes are the first of what Miles hopes will become a regular series of monthly or bi-monthly gatherings since she has returned to her hometown of Carpinteria to raise her family.
