Asking what vulnerability and anxiety mean to the artistic world, the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara (MCASB) will host a conversation with three artists, discussing their works, their creativity and their anxiety.

The talk will ask what it means to have vulnerability play a role in creative endeavors, and how humans can tackle the age-old issue of imposter syndrome.

The three speakers, Lucy, Katharina Stenbeck and Masha Zargaran, each focus on different mediums to express their creativity. Lucy, as the curator and co-founder of Ladies First LA, focuses on highlighting people of color in the art world. Stenbeck, a Swedish artist, covers motion animation, short film and audiovisuals. Zargaran, an audiovisual artist, creates life-size scriptures focused on modern female mythology.
