“Hiding From the Sky” by Ira Meyer, winner of the “People’s Choice Award” of Carpinteria Arts Center’s last juried show.

The Lynda Fairly Carpinteria Arts Center will open its latest exhibition, Human Forms, with a free reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday, June 19.

The exhibit will focus on the human experience and features a new gallery layout. Students from Cate School will perform music and a free Zumba dance class with Angie Cook will be offered at 3:30 p.m. in the courtyard
